Nelson House

Established in 1992, Nelson House provides emergency shelter and social services for women and children who are fleeing abuse in their lives. In 2017, Kivuto donated $2,000 to Nelson House through in-house fundraising initiatives.

Ottawa Food Bank

Ottawa Food Bank

The Ottawa Food Bank is a charitable food donation organization helping nearly 50,000 people per month in the community. Since 2012, Kivuto has helped support the KickStart Program, a program providing meals to children in schools and summer day camps. Through the years, Kivuto employees have also regularly volunteered at the food bank.

Ottawa Chinese Community Service Center

Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre

The Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre is a non-profit, non-partisan, charitable organization committed to advancing the full social and economic integration and participation of newcomers, immigrants and people of Chinese descent in the City of Ottawa. Through the OCCSC, Kivuto has hired several great employees who have benefited from the excellent training the organization offers.

Ottawa Humane Society

Ottawa Humane Society

The Ottawa Humane Society is a non-profit, community-based organization and a registered charity. Since 1888, they have been the leading organization providing a safe haven for sick, injured and homeless animals in Ottawa. In 2016, Kivuto donated over $1,300 to the Ottawa Humane Society through in-house fundraising initiatives.

Bold Ambitions: Dalhousie University

Kivuto Solutions has committed $50,000 over three years as part of the Bold Ambitions campaign to establish the Kivuto Solutions IT Entrepreneurship Fund. This fund will enable student-led IT startups to access seed funding for early-stage prototypes and customer development for student teams.

Telefilm Canada

Telefilm is an association working to promote the cultural, commercial and industrial success of Canada’s film industry. Through its hard work, Telefilm has helped well over 260 productions in the past 5 years. Ram Raju, founder of Kivuto, is a member of the Telefilm Board of Directors and has contributed to Telefilm’s Talent Fund that supports Canada’s next generation of filmmakers.

Saint John Region Hospital Foundation

Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation

The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation is a critical organization within the health care system of New Brunswick, Canada. It raises funds to support projects that are outside the scope of government funding. Over the years, its work has resulted in many equipment and infrastructural upgrades to the hospital, including the New Brunswick Heart Center, Surgical lasers, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Medecins sans frontieres (Doctors without borders)

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare. Kivuto donated over $2,800 to Doctors Without Borders, which helped provide malaria vaccinations for more than 200 children.

Make a Wish

Make-A-Wish

The mission of Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. In 2016, Kivuto raised $10,000 through in-house fundraising initiatives for Logan, a seven-year-old boy with a heart condition. Kivuto adopted Logan’s wish to visit the set of American Ninja Warrior in Las Vegas.

Srikiran Vision Center

The Srikiran Institute of Ophthalmology has taken some critical steps to resolve fundamental issues that afflict people living with vision loss in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. As a result of contributions made by Kivuto, the Srikiran Institute has established a permanent eye clinic in the village of Juvvalapalem.
