What is an Academic Licensing Program?
Academic licensing programs are the most cost-effective way for schools to license software for widespread use. Top vendors like Microsoft and IBM allow institutions to equip their students and/or faculty with free access to software for a set fee.
Institutions can choose to charge end users for product access to defray the cost of program enrollment. This creates a win-win situation in which schools reduce their licensing expenses while still offering software to students well below retail price.
Microsoft Academic Programs
Equip your students with Windows 11 Education at no cost to them with the Student Use Benefit (SUB) program.
Institutions that have licensed their staff and faculty for Windows through a Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) or a Microsoft Open Value Subscription – Education Solutions (OVS-ES) qualify for SUB at no additional cost.
Give faculty the tools to work from home.
With Microsoft’s Work at Home program, institutions can license all of their faculty for Microsoft Office, Windows, Project, and/or Visio for installation and use on their personal devices.
Equip your students with the Microsoft software they need for their courses.
With Microsoft’s Student Option program, institutions can license all of their students for Microsoft Office, Windows, Project, and/or Visio for installation and use on their personal devices.
Your organization may be eligible to use Kivuto’s platform at no charge if it participates in one of the following Microsoft academic volume license agreements: OVS-ES, EES, or a Campus and School Agreement (CASA).
