Vanderbilt University has selected Campus eLMS

May 2, 2003 – e-academy is pleased to announce that Vanderbilt University has selected our ELMS platform to distribute and manage all of their software licensing programs from a wide range of software publishers.

Vanderbilt is a comprehensive research comprehensive university with over 3,500 faculty, 14,000 staff and over 12,000 students. It currently has licensing agreements with leading suppliers including Adobe, Apple Computers, Microsoft, Macromedia, SAS, SPSS and Wolfram Research.

With Vanderbilt’s Campus Software Central based on e-academy’s Campus ELMS platform, the Vanderbilt user community can efficiently order and receive their software and upgrades subject to policies such as eligibility, payment and license compliance.

Integration with Vanderbilt’s authentication server and budgeting system automates the process of eligibility, entitlements, ordering, approvals (if required) and payments. Software is distributed via secure downloads or via media distribution. The system provides inventory management and accurate record keeping thereby ensuring license compliance and procurement efficiencies.
