It’s all about simplifying steps to student success. We’re expanding our relationship with VMware to make it easier for schools to manage their resources.

Colleges and universities worldwide now have improved access to the VMware IT Academy (VITA) program and the VMware Academic Program (VMAP) through our expanded support.

Now, you can distribute all resources available through VMAP and VITA –in addition to software by Microsoft, Adobe, and more – on your school WebStore. The VMware Academic Subscription is available annually starting at $250.00 USD.

Members gain the following benefits with VITA and VMAP:

  • Department-branded WebStores: enables students and faculty to find software and other department resources in a single portal.
  • Software with one-year licenses: students and faculty can get popular software such as vSphere Enterprise Plus, vCenter, vCloud Director, vCloud Suite, Workstation, and Fusion.
  • Teaching resources: including lab setup guides and PowerPoint slides complimenting the VMware fundamental curriculum series plus popular vSphere v6 courses (VITA only).
  • Learning resources: students and faculty can read eTexts using Texidium for anywhere on any device, and purchase virtual labs at a nominal cost.
  • Certification resources: including preparation materials and discount vouchers for the VCA and VCP6-DCV exams (VITA only).
