Online web banners will help you promote Texidium’s apps and learning resources to your students and faculty. Embed these web banners on your school’s website(s), in emails, and more.
User Guide
- Place banners and logos on key institutional web pages where students, faculty, and staff search for related topics including course information.
- Web banners can be placed on student portals, Blackboard/Learning Management Systems, library sites, faculty resources and teaching support pages, IT sites, intranets, and in emails sent to students.
- Link directly to the Texidium apps or your Texidium WebStore when configuring the banner.
- You can change the text on WebStore banners by editing the working files. Button text can be changed to “Download now” or “Find your books” to help guide users.
Introduce Texidium to students and faculty throughout your campus by sharing the benefits of eTexts and linking to Texidium’s apps and resources. All you need to do is add your Texidium WebStore URL and school logo.
User Guide
- Open the flyer file in Microsoft Word and insert your school logo and WebStore URL. * We recommend using Microsoft Word 2010 or later.
- You can change the text on flyers by editing the working files. Button text can be changed to “Download now” or “Find your books” to help guide users.
- Include flyers in welcome packages and agendas for both students and faculty.
- Distribute flyers to Student Associations and Student Council members so they have the necessary tools to communicate the use of Texidium to fellow students.
- Post flyers in high traffic areas around campus such as computer labs, information boards, libraries, cafeterias, residence buildings, and classrooms.
Emails are the most effective way to directly reach your academic users, introduce Texidium apps and learning resources, and encourage quick adoption.

Our email package includes HTML file(s), plain text copy, sample header banners and image assets. All you need to do is provide your school’s logo or name and links to your WebStore.
Here are the step by step instructions for adding and updating the message in Outlook.
The Simple Way: Windows Outlook and Outlook for Mac
- Unzip the downloaded folder
- Open the HTML file in your browser
- Copy and paste the full content into a new email
- Update the header image
- Create a banner branded with your school color and name/logo
- Click the old banner, go to Insert > Pictures, and choose your new banner
- Update the necessary fields in the email text (like school name, WebStore URL, School FAQ page link and signature)
- Optional: go to File > Save As and save the email as a .msg file that can be easily opened again and used at a future date
The Better Way: Windows Outlook ONLY
- Unzip the downloaded folder
- Upload the image assets and a header banner branded with your school color and logo/name to a server that is publicly accessible from the web
- Check with your IT department if you need help
- Optional: some email services like MailChimp will host this for you
- Open the HTML file in a code or text editor (like Notepad)
- Replace the local image URLs (

) with your hosted image URLs (<img src="www.yourschool.com/resources/new-image-1.jpg" />
) - Save and close the file

- Open a new Windows Explorer window and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Stationery into the address bar
- Copy over the updated HTML file into the new window
- Go to Outlook and select Home > New Items > E-mail Message Using > More Stationery
- Find and select the HTML file from the popup window
- Update the necessary fields in the email text (like school name, WebStore URL, School FAQ page link, and signature)
- Optional: Go to File > Save As and save the email as a .msg file that can be easily opened and used again at a future date.

- Promotion of Texidium should be consistent throughout the school year and more frequent during at the start of each new semester.
