OTTAWA, Ontario – May 10, 2016 – Kivuto has been honoured with the Capacity Builder Award by the International Talent Acquisition Centre (In-TAC) in recognition for supporting internationally-trained talent in the workforce.
Over the last five years, 25% of new Kivuto staff have been hired through referrals from In-TAC, the employer services division of the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre (OCCSC). In addition to matching new Canadians with jobs, In-TAC offers cultural training to businesses on how to help international talent transition to Canadian workplaces.
“Our partnership with In-TAC has been extremely helpful for us in creating a rich, diverse and modern workforce,” says Janet Robertson, Director of Human Resources at Kivuto. “The professionalism and passion exhibited by In-TAC’s leadership is to be admired.”
Kivuto, a long-time supporter of In-TAC, has previously been awarded with In-TAC’s Donor of the Year Award in 2014 and 2013. Kivuto CEO and Founder, Ram Raju, received the In-TAC Impact Award in 2013 for his leadership on actively hiring new Canadians.
